I. Организационный момент. Приветствие.
II. Объявление темы, цели и задач урока.
T: Good morning everybody! You are welcome to our English lesson.
Dear students, I’m glad to see you, I hope you are well, you are fine, I know you like English very much and you like traveling. Today it will be an unusual lesson.
It will be a virtual trip. Do you like traveling? (Yes, we do.). After this traveling we’ll make cards to our friends.
III. Путешествие по достопримечательным местам города Лондона.
T: Now you ‘ll visit one of the foreign countries. You must guess what country and their places of interest will you watch? (England, Italy, France or the USA)
P: England.
T: That’s right. So, imagine that we are in London now! And we are met by the guide. Zarema will be our guide.
Guide: Good afternoon, students, ladies and gentleman. Welcome to our round London sightseeing tour . London is situated in the south-east of England on the River Thames. London is one of the most famous capital cities of the world. This city has got a population of about 7 million people. That is 13 % of Britain’s population. London really consists of 3 cities: the City of London, the City of Westminster, and City of Southward.
Now we are in Trafalgar Square.
It was so named in memory of the victory in the battle of Trafalgar. In the middle you can see Nelson’s monument-a tall column with the figure of Nelson on its top. The column is 170 feet (about 52m) tall and the statue is 17 feet (more than 5m) in the height. The column is guarded by 4 bronze lions.
Guide: Ladies and gentlemen, in front of you is Buckingham Palace.
You have a good chance to meet the Queen.
The Queen: good afternoon! I’m the Queen of England, Elizabeth the Second. I live in this famous palace, first built in 1703, which is situated in the centre of the city Buckingham Palace is like a small town with a police station, two post offices, a bar, two sports clubs, a disco and a swimming pool. There are 600 rooms and 3 miles of red carpet. Two men work full-time to look after 300 clocks. About 700 people work in my house.
Guide: Say good-bye to the Queen. We are coming to Big Ben.

Guide: Big Ben is the name of the clock and the bell of the clock tower of the Houses of Parliament.
Guide: Now you can see the Tower of London. Welcome to the Tower of London. It was begun by William the Conqueror who invaded Britain in 1066. For many centuries the tower has been a fortress, a palace, and a prison. It is now a museum of arms.
Guide: Now we are driving along Oxford Street past the British Museum and you can see St. Paul` s Cathedral on the left.
Guide: We are near the Hyde Park.
Guide: You can see The Houses of Parliament. It is a long grey building with towers. The river Thames is behind the Houses of Parliament.
Guide: On the other side of Parliament Square is Westminster Abbey.it is one
of the most famous and beautiful churches in London. It is very old too.
Guide: Our last stop is London Bridge. Untill 1749, there was only one bridge over the river: London Bridge.Now there are 27 bridges over the Thames in London.
Guide: Our excursion around London is over.
